Alexis Dawance - Fund Manager
Mr. Dawance began his career with Merrill Lynch in the private banking division in 1999. In 2000, he joined Lehman Brothers in London in Debt Capital Markets. Alexis moved to the Zurich office in 2002 where he reached the Director position in Equity sales focusing on US & Global stocks. He Co-founded Global-Cap SA in Zurich in April 2006 where he has been managing two hedgefunds for more than three years.
Alexis obtained his BA from HEC Lausanne in Finance and Economics. Mr. Dawance has been following the Global Equity Market for more than 10 years as an Equity Sales and as a Fund Manager. Alexis Dawance is a regular speaker at conferences worldwide and on CNBC and Bloomberg.
Victor Badin - Fund Manager
Mr Badin has been employed in the investment banking industry since 2001 as a leveraged finance banker. He reached the position of senior associate covering European and Middle Eastern corporate clients of Credit Suisse. Mr. Badin acquired expertise in agriculture by investing in farms in Argentina. He Co-founded Global-Cap SA in Zurich in April 2006 where he is responsible of Private Equity Investments.
Mr. Badin graduated from the University of Kent at Canterbury in 1999 where he completed a LLB in English and French Law.
In 2001 he completed a Masters in Trade, Transport and Finance at the City university in London. Victor Badin is a regular speaker at conferences worldwide and on CNBC and Bloomberg.
Jean-Fabrice Faria
de Moura-Serra – Fund Manager
Mr. Faria de Moura-Serra started his career as a research scientist in the space of numerical optimisation and algorithmic in the US and Europe. He moved to finance in 2003 as an Investment and Risk Manager for Zurich Financial Services. In 2007, he joined IMC where he operated as a proprietary trader.
During his time at IMC, Mr. Faria de Moura-Serra acquired experience in developing flagship high frequency mutli-asset quantitative trading strategies and running a multi-million dollars desk.
Mr. Faria de Moura-Serra graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – EPFL in 2000 where he completed a Masters in Telecom Engineering. He obtained a diploma in Quantitative Finance from the Swiss Finance Institute (HEC) in 2003. He is currently a certified Eurex Trader.
He joined Global-Cap AG in September 2009 as a Fund Manager to direct a statistical arbitrage trading fund.
Mattia Ferrini - Analyst
Mr. Ferrini holds a Bsc in Industrial Engineering and has been awarded a Msc in Financial engineering from Politecnico di Milano as well as a Msc in Industrial Engineering with specialization in financial mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm.
Previously Mr. Ferrini worked as a quantitative analyst for Swedbank where he has developed mathematical models for fixed income securities pricing.
Trang Q. Tran - Analyst
Mrs. Tran holds a Msc in Logistics and Transport Management from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Previously, Mrs. Tran completed a BA in foreign trade at the Foreign Trade university in Vietnam. Mrs. Tran also worked for DYM Logistics in Vietnam before becoming a consultant for Global-Cap in 2007.
David Grajzgrund - Analyst
After completing his Master degree in International Finance from the French 'Grande Ecole' ISC Paris and a `Classe Preparatoire’ in Nice, Mr. Grajzgrund worked for Lombard Odier Darier Hentch and for Allenbridge Group Plc.
After those rewarding experiences in Portfolio management and Hedge Funds analysis, he decided to embrace a more quantitative finance career and joined Global-Cap AG as Quantitative Trader.
